Murat
İKİNCİ

Mr. Murat İkinci started his career in 1996 as a research assistant at Bilkent
University (1996 – 1998), and in 1997 he became a Software Engineer at
HAVELSAN Inc. where he continued to work until the end of 1998. Mr. İkinci
continued his career as a Computer Engineer at STM Defence in 2000.
Respectively, he continued as the Manager responsible for the Software
Department and the Director Responsible for Defence Projects.

During this time, he played critical roles in completing many high-level defense
projects, including NATO projects. As of 2013, he has served as Deputy General
Manager responsible for Engineering and Consultancy, consisting of Maritime
Programs, Defence Procurement, Consultancy Services, and Airworthiness
Certification Services at STM, and he continued his career as General Manager
between 2018 and 2020. Currently, as of July 2020, he acts as Chief Executive
Officer of Roketsan Missiles Inc.

In addition to his role as CEO of Roketsan, Mr. Ikinci serves as Vice Chairman of
SAHA Istanbul and as a board member of TÜBİTAK and TÜBİTAK SAGE.

Mr. İkinci has an advanced level of English proficiency; he holds a B.S. (1996) and
a M.S. (1998) degree in Computer Science, in addition to an Executive MBA
Degree (2010) from Bilkent University, Ankara.

Mr. İkinci is married and has two children.
