Yildiz Technical University started its activities of opening a technology development zone in line with the entrepreneurial university model of the 21st century which contributed to the R & D activities of our country and in 2003 established Yıldız Teknopark. Teknopark continues to work with the vision of becoming an international cooperation center in all stages of the process of transforming new ideas into value-generating outputs. Yıldız Teknopark, established in YTU Davutpasa Campus in 2009 and continues to grow in line with the principle of sustainable development, started its operations in the end of 2014 and has 23,500 m2 İkitelli. With the service of the campus, today it serves in the field of R & D office area of ​​170 thousand m2. 370 R & D companies, 90 hatcheries and 7,000 companies conducting R & D activities in many sectors such as software, information and communication technologies, telecommunication, electronics, pharmaceuticals, machinery and equipment manufacturing, chemical, aviation, energy, defense industry, construction, food is home to more qualified R & D and software personnel.
