Sapmaz Aviation, which was established in 2014 to carry out R&D activities in the field of engineering, is an Ankara-based aviation company that provides products and services in the fields of production, training and consultancy in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) sector. Our company, which opened its first branch in Istanbul within the scope of branching activities throughout Turkey, continues its preparations for opening branches in many provinces, especially in Mersin, İzmir and Balıkesir.

1. Production Activities

As Sapmaz Aviation, we take an active role in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles; We produce Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for smart agriculture applications, multispectral imaging drone and drone development kit for do-it-yourself workshops.

We carry out our production activities with the manufacturing permit we have obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle manufacturer registration in the Industry Registry System of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the capacity report given by TOBB.

1.1. Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

Our company has been licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the test center test reports approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for two different models. It has become the first and only domestic manufacturer to export Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicles by exporting the Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicle models we have produced to Azerbaijan.

1.2. Multispectral Drone

With the multispectral drone developed by our company, which has full autonomous mission capability, images can be collected in five different bands and phytosanitary analyzes can be made with the orthophotos created.

1.3. Drone Development Kit

With the sets we have developed for do-it-yourself workshops, it is possible for anyone who wants to learn about drone construction to develop their own drone. Since the parts that make up this set can be produced with three-dimensional printers, maintenance and repair costs are very low. In addition, this set is open to mechanical, electronic and software customization in accordance with the do-it-yourself logic.

2. Educational Activities

Our company was authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation in 2017 as a Training Organization for Commercial UAV Pilot Training. In addition, our company has completed the transition process to the legislation of the Ministry of National Education and is the first authorized institution in our country to receive the permission to open a course on UAV training.

Our company, which received training authorization in the UAV2/UAV3 class in 2021, is the only active training institution that has the most registered practical training aircraft in the UAV2 class, and where theoretical and practical training can be given by the same company.

Our company, which has certified over 5000 trainees since the day it was authorized, serves in two different locations, Ankara (headquarters) and Istanbul (branch).

3. Light UAV Operator and Consulting

In addition to its training and production activities, our company has the Light UAV Operator certificate with the number TR-UAV-İŞLETİCİ-02 issued by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation. With the organizational structure we have established in our company, all registration, registration, certification, flight permit and maintenance and repair processes of the unmanned aerial vehicles we operate are carried out in a professional manner.

With this organizational structure, we provide consultancy on registration, registration, certification, special flight permits, commercial flight permits, Ministry of Agriculture Agricultural Unmanned Aerial Vehicle manufacturing-import permit and licensing required for the unmanned aerial vehicle industry.
