POLITEM was established in 2006 on the basis of a former family business in the production of textile fibers with the aim of producing PA raw materials using post-industrial textile waste. While continuing its journey to become a reliable supplier of recycled materials in both domestic and export markets, it has expanded its trade channel as a local distributor of reputable global chemical companies over the years. With a visionary strategy to become a fully integrated, sustainable compound manufacturer, an investment decision was made in the production of engineering plastic compounds at the end of 2013. Thus, a difficult journey began in the new factory located in Cerkezkoy-Tekirdağ in 2015. The production capacity, which was 18000 tons /year in 2015, has increased exponentially every year. After the annual volume of 30000 tons /year reached in 2018, POLITEM has turned into a company that makes a difference, serving through three main business channels: recycling, compounding and trading in its 12000 square meter facility with a production capacity of 60000 tons /year in 2021. In addition to our new investments in PP compounding specifically for production lines with a capacity of 15000 tons / year, we aim to increase our existing PP market share by the beginning of 2022. With the strong expertise of our team, we are leading a large number of projects, from standard commercial products to customized compounds and applications to meet the requirements of various industrial sectors.
