Otonom Teknoloji was established in June, 2012 by a core staff with the average experience of 20 years in the defence and aviation field in order to provide innovative solutions about unmanned and autonomous system technologies. It started the Research & Development studies in its centre located in METU Teknokent in May, 2013. It established a production facility of 650 square meters in June, 2014 in Ostim İvedik. Otonom Teknoloji is an engineering and technology firm developing original and innovative solutions in the fields of robotic, electronic and software for unmanned systems. Otonom Teknoloji develops integrated solutions for many applications especially for the border safety, exploration and observation, communication, search-rescue and agriculture; which primarily include aerostats, tethered unmanned aerial vehicles and associated electronic and software components.
