GDS Engineering ARGE San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. is an R&D company established in Teknopark Istanbul in 2014.

GDS in short;

It develops simulator products in the maritime industry, especially Ship Engine Room Simulator and similar simulators for use in maritime training. GDS's main product, Ship Engine Room Simulator (SERS), has been trademarked and certified by ClassNK, the international maritime certification agency. SERS has started to be used in important maritime education institutions such as Yıldız Technical University, One Yachts, and Istanbul Technical University. In addition to SERS, GDS has also developed and continues to work on other maritime training simulators such as the Ship Electrical Systems Simulator.

GDS also provides project-specific, knowledge and experience-based consultancy services in the Maritime Sector. He completed his work on Machine Learning with the TÜBİTAK project of ARKAS BIMAR. He carried out a study and an internationally valid report on seaborne noise measurement and analysis for a ship belonging to Karadeniz Holding (Karpowership). We continue to serve the maritime industry with similar engineering and consultancy studies.

Belonging to the Aviation Sector, GDS personnel provide training on the RTCA-DO-160 Environmental Testing Standard and provide services regarding the test plan and management of tests according to this standard.

GDS, which has international experience in MIL-STD-810H, which is very important in the Defense Sector, provides training on this subject and serves the sector in preparing test plans, test requirements, and executing test projects. He currently continues his consultancy services in important projects for the Republic of Turkey.

As GDS Engineering ARGE, we provide online and face-to-face training such as MIL-STD-810, RTCA-DO-160, Applied Vibration Tests Training, MIL-STD-461, System Engineering and Defense Projects Management, Requirements Engineering.

GDS staff also consists of academic staff at ITU Maritime Faculty, and ITU Maritime Testing Application and Research Center (ITU DETAM) provides testing, consultancy and engineering services within the scope of university-industry collaborations. ITU Marine Equipment Test Center (METC), as it is known in English, can perform environmental tests such as vibration, temperature, icing, dropping, stacking, internal pressure, tensile, notch, sealing, salt fog.
