In the very beginnings of 1900's the making and running of water mills by forging by our great grandfathers began and has kept on going until 1950s. Later, the making and running of diesel engine flour mills, producing axles for tumbrels, and force pumps that could work manually and force pumps that were powered by horses, were manufactured until 1960s.
After the 1960s, the maintenance of diesel engine and normal engine water pumps, and manufacturing of water pump's spare parts, maintenance of motorized vehicles, producing spare parts for the shotgun sector that is very common in the region, usage of lathes, and welding was done till 1990s. Our establishment by a new settlement became a Limited Company in 1994 and focused its attention on production.
DOME, with the installment of its' first CNC machine in 1995 has increased the variety in its line of products. The Company moved to a 13.500 m2 land of which 1800 m2 is indoor space, which has social facilities and a management office. Later, the factory systemized itself to bulk production from solitary production. In the following years the company kept up with the developing market and has increased the number of its' CNC machines and has increased its' producing power.
Our company, with a new institutional structuring, starting in January 2004, begun training to get ISO 9001:2000 and turned into an Incorporate Company.
DEGIRMENCI AUTOMOTIVE AND METAL INDUSTRY INC. has expedited system studies of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 since November 2011. The company also has managed to get ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certificates in 2012. Also, in 2018 it has obtained ISO13485:2012 and ISO 9001:2015 and has concentrated on studies for ISO 13485:2016.
DOME still produces parts for automotive sector markets, spare parts for shotguns, various implants for the medical sector, and ammunitions and rifle parts for the defense industry.
