Founded in 2005 in Ankara, BİTES Defense and Aerospace Technologies continues its activities at the METU Technopolis Informatics Innovation Center in Ankara and has made a partnership with ASELSAN and joined ASELSAN’s subsidiaries in February 2019.

It offers innovative solutions to end users by combining its current software experience with R & D activities carried out for Defense, Aviation and Space technologies applications of today’s advanced technologies. It is focused on product development in situational awareness applications especially in the battlefield of “Augmented Reality”.

BİTES was invited to the Educational Technologies Conference organized by NATO Transformation Headquarters with the solutions that successful Augmented Reality solutions developed by national means, and after the presentation of the technology solutions it realized at the conference received “the Best Education Solution” award with the votes of participants from various NATO member states.

In 2014 and 2017, BITES was named one of the top 100 Simulation Companies in the world by Military Training Technology magazine, one of the leading Simulation and Education Industry publications in the USA. In 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, BITES was listed among the 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies. entered the IT 500 list in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and was among the top 500 in the TIM Exporters category in 2016 and registered its achievements.
