BCD Teknik ARGE was established in 2012 within the scope of the Technopreneurship Capital Support Program of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey and is a technology company subject to Law No. 5746.

The company founder Dr. Barış DOĞAN currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechatronic Engineering of the Faculty of Technology of the Republic of Turkey Marmara University. Since his graduation in 2002, he has carried out many activities regarding technical education and the development of automation software in the industry. In 2015, he participated in the accelerator program in the US Silicon Valley within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2239 program and worked as an Avionic Systems Technical Consultant at DELTAV Space Technologies Inc. between 2018-2020.

BCD Teknik has developed and commercialized fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs for research projects of various universities for many years. The company commercialized its BCD Smart Damper product, which is a Teknogirişim business idea and an electronic module used to prevent dumper vehicles from tipping over while unloading, by selling it to the İGA consortium that undertook the construction of Istanbul Airport in 2016. It is also one of the founding partners of MİLTEKSAN CNC Technology and Control Systems Inc., which is developing a 5-axis CNC controller, which is an important technological asset for our country.
