Founded in 1984, Baykar focuses on the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and their subsystems indigeneously in line with the paradigm shift in the aviation world. As a result of its self-funded R&D program, Bayraktar Mini UAV and Bayraktar TB2 Tactical UAV systems are developed as the nation’s first UAV platforms, also to be included in the Turkish Army inventory.

Bayraktar TB2 UAV system, which broke aviation records in the history of the country, the first air vehicle exported from Turkey. As part of its research & development program, Baykar indigeneously develops and manufactures Flight Control Systems, Data Link/Communication Systems, Instrumental Navigation Systems and Simulator Systems. With its more than 200 thousand flight hours experience coupled with its young and dynamic engineering team experienced in robotics, software design and artificial intelligence (AI), Baykar is now developing Bayraktar Akıncı, Turkey’s new attack UAV.
