Akkar’s operations were started with the production of hunting rifles and automotive parts in 1985. It began producing air rifles in1989, and supported standard rifle producers with standard parts. Akkar, which entered into sector with products manufactured for the first time, produced the first pump-action shotgun in Turkey in 1992 and semi-automatic rifle with gas system in 1995. Akkar’s products with unique lines show Akkar’s huge experience and ability in rifle design. It also has the ability to create and develop its own systems, together with the machinery and automation systems thanks to its engineering staff. Having the capacity to provide high standard products and services to meet the needs of domestic and foreign customers, our organization has started to work on R & D anddesign for Defence, Aerospace and Space Industry by expanding its sectoral line and relying on accumulated experiences on weapons.
